The Temp Drops. The Action Heats Up
Well the temperature outside has started to drop off. Going from our comfy 80 degree days to the mid 60′s and even colder at night. But the sudden shift in the weather hasn’t stopped us from tossing on the shorts and going out to play some tennis. It’s amazing how warm you actually get once you get running around on the courts.
Last night was around 54 from what my cars temp control was displaying, yet Edwin and I made our way out to play a nice match up. All around it was a good series of matches with a good series of volleys. In the end I felt it was mostly an even match up. Only thing that caused me to win with any ease was Edwins sudden affair with the net. Seemed like in the second match up in the 3rd set the net just started to jump out and grab the tennis balls off his serve. Which sucked. It was the bottom of the 3rd set score being 1 set to 1 set. 2 points to 2 points. A solid first 2 serves leaving us tied up. Then he went back to his love affair with the net and faulted into ending the match. Other than that though it was a good game. And great exercise. Because when it’s 50-something out and you’re sweating a bit that’s a good thing.
Perhaps some tennis will go down tonight if I don’t make it down to the cabin with the crew to sit close to the fire and enjoy some yummy food. We shall see. Perhaps I’ll post up some pictures of num num fire if it does happen.
