2009 Drawing to a Close

Tomorrow is New Years Eve. This means that 2009 has quickly come and gone and will be just another year that has passed by soon.
Of course a lot has happened in the year. A lot of changes for the site with theme changes, writer additions etc.
We’ve also all seen our fair amount of changes in life. My wife got her number called and had to leave for her second tour in Iraq. Our 1 year anniversary came and went. We moved. And by we I mean I moved with the help of Edwin 
. Sold the 350Z. Had Tony come back from Korea and then leave again for Korea. Played a good bit of tennis and much much more that really is impossible to recall all of.
I go forward into 2010 looking forward to a few things. The return of my wife back home. And the hopes that this 2010s lineup of movies is better than 2009s. My movie collection has only 2 movies that really look to be added from 2009s line up. The Hangover and Avatar. Both movies were awesome.
I also look forward to the prospect of purchasing a house in 2010. While not for sure, the odds are there to make it happen which makes me happy. It is more of finding the right place with the right amount of land. I’m one of those people who want more than just a 1/4 of an acre of land. I need to see more green than asphalt to be happy. I also couldn’t settle for a city placement. So hopefully 2010 will find out a nice place in a good price range.
I would also like to build a new PC. That of course has been mentioned before. Yet I am stuck awaiting the announcement from Nvidia for their DX11 cards or for ATI to drop the prices a bit on theirs. I imagine they will come in sync of each other. Though I would say that ATI is really showing some great cards and if the price comes down on them then I will be moving from the Nvidia card to ATI.
Oh. But more than the computer I want a Jeep. A Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to be exact. I was able to drive the current model a bit and enjoyed it and felt it handled just fine. Now I’m waiting for the new model year with the upgraded engine to see how it performs and will possible be getting one. It all depends on how things go. We shall see.
