Today I logged into hulu to be pleasantly surprised with the return of Chuck. I won’t go into too much detail on this series other than to say that if you haven’t watched it you need to get the first 2 seasons and start enjoying. Then once that is done you need to get Chuck added to your hulu queue. Or whatever streaming service you might have available in your region. The show is just fun.

Ever wish you could access all the features of the control panel in one go? Or have access to that impossible to locate system setting that will allow your computer to run like you want it to? Well thats GodMode.

Okay maybe it’s not really GodMode. But the option to access said info is available. In short you use a hook into the GUID to access this magical panel. In Windows 7 just create a folder and append the following GUID hook to it to access the advanced control panel.

Folder name: Control.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Actually the folder name can be anything you want so long as the “.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}” portion is appended to it. So if you want a GodMode folder to make you feel big and bad GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} there ya go.

So the crew got together and came up with an idea for a stop motion video. Above are the results of our ideas. Enjoy.

So in my exploring of the web I stumbled upon this game/stuffed creature thing for the Wii.

Apparently you stuff your Wiimote down this stuffed animals throat and then use the stuffed animal to handle basic controls of the character on screen.  All in all I feel like this will be a great game for a couple of 5-7 year old kids.

Now if only they would spend more time making games for teens-adults as well.  Or perhaps Nintendo can invest in some better graphics.  Now that the Nintendo Wii has lost some of it’s luster from the new motion controls there isn’t much to do with it other than have it serve as a dust collector.  Perhaps like in my case it serves as a hazard on the garage steps.
