I won’t be able to go through all the old posts to update them with pretty pictures but I will do a quick few and going forward I will ask that images be included for posts so that it gives a nice feel and look to the site.

I am also working with a Featured post.  The post that is listed for/as a featured post will be up for at least one full day minimum.  The feature will remain up until the next feature is added to the site and replaces the old one.

Also Legos may find their way onto the site as Edwin and I discuss some comic use for our mini yellow men.

The short of it is that I am in need of a extreme redesign of thesite. If for nothing else than to just work on my skills. I am in debates with myself as to how this will go down. Should I start fresh? Should I change to a whole new platform? So many should I’s for me to think about. All around I was thinking that I would maybe move off of my 100% custom built system to a WordPress back end and build a template around that.

My thoughts on WordPress are that the system is tried and true. When a flaw is learned of the system they usually put out an update in a timely manner that you can roll out to the system. This would reduce the amount of work I have to do combing through my code when a problem comes up. They also have the admin section that most users find to be at least semi-friendly with most of the features needed for writing up a blog entry and posting it right at hand. Again saving me time and energy. It also allows for me to write plugins for it. So while I will start to focus a bit on the design aspect, I won’t be tossing my programming ideas to the wayside.

I think to start though I’m going to get started on some fresh viewer facing designs. I really want to get a design that I can say I love and enjoyed making. As hard as that might be for me, I feel as though I am grasping at some ideas that will offer a viable solution for the site.

Now to figure out what we are going to do with this comic idea. Pen and paper everywhere we go I suppose. Our general life occurrences are way too funny to ignore or not shared.
